NEXT RTFC AUCTION WEDNESDAY 18th JANUARY 2012

The next user-friendly and convenient monthly RTFC auction will take place on Wednesday 18th January.

The next issue of RTFO certificates will be issued by DFT on 15th January and the auction is an ideal way of trading RTFCs. Buyers are able to maintain their anonymity, balance their certificate position and are not charged any fees while sellers can have access to a good number of buyers and the ability for them to aggregate certificates with other small producers.

Both sellers and buyers are very positive about the RTFC Auctions and see them as an ideal platform for trading certificates in a hassle free, no risk environment.

THE RTFC AUCTION IS A CONVENIENT
TRADING PLATFORM FOR ALL

The latest auction for RTFCs took place on Friday 18th November and the
average price achieved was 20.5p.

Buyers and sellers continue to support the RTFC auctions and comment
on the simple, user-friendly and convenient trading platform.

The auction allows small producers the opportunity to consolidate their
certificates and therefore make them more attractive, whereas, the
buyer can remain anonymous and deal direct with the NFPA and not be
charged any fees for the service.

Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (Amendment) Order 2009

The order which comes into force on 15 April 2009 sets the obligation levels on total fuel supplied to be:

For the first two periods of the Order the buyout price will be 15p per litre.
