e-POWER - AUCTION, BILLING & SETTLEMENT

FEED-IN TARIFF
YOU CAN NOW MAXIMISE THE VALUE OF YOUR FIT EXPORT ON THE e-POWER AUCTION

If you are a Feed-In Tariff generator and you can answer 'yes' to the following:-

  • Are you mainly exporting as opposed to consuming your generation on site?
  • Would you like to earn between 60 - 90% extra for your exported power?
  • Would you find the prospect of negotiating with up to 19 different suppliers daunting?
  • Would you like a standard PPA that's been endorsed by a host of other FIT generators?

This is exactly what you could get if you opt to sell your export through the e-POWER auction.

FEED-IN TARIFF GENERATORS TO USE e-POWER AUCTIONS

In an important development for the e-POWER platform, NFPAS-Auctions is delighted to announce that generators under the Feed in Tariff (FIT) scheme can now also auction their export power. FIT generators that are half-hourly metered and over 30kW are able to opt out of the standard scheme fixed rate export tariff. Via the e-POWER auction, it is estimated that these generators could receive in excess of £55 per MWh, a significant premium to the administered fixed rate. Another bonus is that although financiers of new FIT projects may require the security of a long term electricity off-take arrangement, they are usually able to provide finance off the FIT Generation tariff only. This allows the generator to take full advantage of the higher export prices available via e-POWER by opting out of the standard export tariff.

Our next e-POWER auction for Winter 2014/15 power is on 8th July 2014.
